IPhone X Has Green Line Display Problem

Now the recently released iPhone X still has a 3-4 week shipping estimate and Kuo expects production will rise 35-45 percent this quarter compared to last quarter to keep up with demand for the upcoming holiday season.

At the time, Apple outlined a temporary fix for the problem on its website. Apple has not commented on that however, it is replacing the devices if you take it to your nearest Apple Store without asking any question.

Demand for the iPhone X remains positive and Kuo estimates that production will rise somewhere around 35-45% in the next quarter compared to to the one previous.

According to users on Reddit, the company is replacing the damaged units with the newer phone, so, if you have an iPhone X with the similar problem head towards the authorized service center to replace the faulty device. Majority users who have reported about the green line confirm that it runs from top to bottom on either side of the screen.

With each passing day, we hear of a new issue with the iPhone X display or more importantly with its most publicised feature Face ID.

This iPhone X issue has been dubbed "the green line of death". "We are aware of instances where the iPhone X screen will become temporarily unresponsive to touch after a rapid change to a cold environment". "This will be addressed in an upcoming software update".

"As there are plans for a 5.8" OLED model next year, this is likely the 2nd generation of the iPhone X (the first gen being 5.8" too), and the 6.5" OLED screen will be the iPhone X Plus. It is understandable that some these issues should pop up, but it is still hard to determine how widespread the issue is as of now.

At the moment, it's unclear what causes the issue.

There are still people out there trying to decide if they want to upgrade to the iPhone X or iPhone 8, and now we know of these 3 new models being released next year, their decision will be even harder.
