Omarosa Manigault Newman Denies She Was Fired From The White House

The White House says Omarosa Manigault Newman, one of President Donald Trump's most prominent African-American supporters, plans to leave the administration next month.

Omarosa Manigault Neyman has denied she was sacked by Donald Trump, insisting she is leaving her key White House rule voluntarily.

Three administration officials described reports of Newman being hauled off the White House grounds as overstated. "John Kelly and I sat down in the situation room, which is a very secure, very quiet room in the White House, and we had a very candid conversation". She says she remains on staff until January 20, the administration's one-year mark. Acting as a political aide to President Trump, Omarosa Manigault-Newman resigned to "pursue other opportunities" claimed press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders.

She also suggested that some in the White House were jealous of her access to Trump.

Manigault Newman, commonly referred to as just Omarosa, appeared on the 2004 season of the president's reality show and earned a reputation as a ruthless competitor.

Recall that the former Apprentice star fell out with the black community after she declared support for Trump and came onboard his presidential campaign team.

"There were a lot of things that I observed during the previous year that I was very unhappy with, that I was very uncomfortable with", she said.

"[Omarosa] believes she'd be a good candidate for an undersecretary position", the report said, adding that she also is "eyeing an ambassador role with Nigeria ... due to her heritage on her father's side".

Williams told The Washington Post Wednesday that "as recently as last week she told me about her concerns about the president endorsing Roy Moore. I wish you continued success", Trump tweeted late Wednesday.

But there were many unanswered questions about her role in the administration and what she did on a day-to-day basis remained unclear. "And I know what I'm doing".

Manigault Newman's departure, according to two sources close to Trump, has been a long time coming.

"This is incredible! The Secret Service physically dragging someone from the White House".

Manigault Newman was then unceremoniously escorted from the West Wing.

She added that the report she was sacked came from someone with a "personal vendetta" against her, according to The Hill.

She was "fired" by Trump during the run, but reappeared years later on Trump's "Celebrity Apprentice". "Certainly I had more access than most, and people had problems with that".

Somehow Manigault Newman made it to the residences - usually a closed-off area - in a bid to speak with President Trump.

"Even though she had access and was touting herself as this powerful figure", she said, "that power really meant nothing because she didn't have the power to influence Donald Trump, at least publicly, on issues she professed to care about and on issues that black people said they cared about".
