National Football League playoffs continue with Bills-Jaguars, Panthers-Saints

The Panthers-Saints victor will play at Minnesota next week.

Buffalo lost its first playoff game since 1999 because of a familiar storyline-lack of offensive punch.

Brees' touchdowns went for 80-yards to Ted Ginn and 9 yards to tight end Josh Hill.

Tolbert is a fullback, and Murphy was promoted from the practice squad last week and ran for 41 yards.

After snapping a 17-year postseason drought, the Bills were unable to get their first playoff win since 1995, falling to Blake Bortles and Jacksonville Jaguars 10-3 on Sunday.

The run game will likely decide this matchup, with the Bills' LeSean McCoy and the Jaguars' Leonard Fournette as the best players on the field for either offense.

A drab first quarter finished scoreless and the second quarter almost followed suit as both sides started nervously before a fantastic interception by Jaguars cornerback Aaron Colvin gave the match some spark.

Jacksonville, which won the AFC South title and the No. 3 seed for the AFC playoffs, advances to a conference semifinal next Sunday at No. 2 Pittsburgh. Fournette passed 1,000 yards on the season last week and McCoy finished the regular season with 1,138 yards. Atlanta's Michael Vick also did it against the St. Louis Rams in the 2004 playoffs.

Midway through the second quarter the Bills finally broke through on a 31-yard field goal from field goal from Stephen Hauschka to give Buffalo a 3-0 lead, but it didn't come without some controversy.
