CES 2018: TCL Unveils Expanded Home Entertainment Lineup

Similar in many ways is the new Roku 5-Series 4K HDR TVs, which have HDR Dynamic Contrast for optimizing scenes to show accurate details within the dark and bright areas of a picture.

Aside from the 6 series, TCL also announced the 5 Series which replaces the S series of televisions it now has.

The 6-Series also features Wide Color with NBP Photon technology for even more realistic colors and performance closer to the limits of human vision. "This new soundbar will make adding great sound to a TCL Roku TV a breeze", the company said. Likewise, the 5-Series models eequipped with iPQ Engine also offers precise color replication and HDR Pro Gamma to significantly improve HDR performance in any setting. TCL has upped the number of local dimming zones to 96 on the 55-inch version of the 6-series and a whopping 120 zones on the 65-incher.

"As we continue to innovate, we're able to produce televisions engineered with features that maximize technologies which already exist in our sets like Dolby Vision and the Roku OS to deliver outstanding performance at an incredible value".

TCL is an exceptional Roku TV partner and a natural fit to be the first partner to plan to build a smart soundbar under our new licensing program.

Stepping into the more traditional territory, the C6 series of TVs all feature Android TV, 4K HDR displays and a Harman Kardon audio system with an integrated Circular soundbar at the base of the screen.

The new Roku Voice Assistant will work without a remote and respond to voice commands such as "Hey Roku" to activate through Roku Connect devices like the TCL smart speakers with Roku Connect.

In just four years since the partnership started, TCL and Roku have made great strides to provide industry-leading smart TVs to consumers.

"The P6 will come in 43", 50", 55" and 65" models topping out at $2,699 AUD for the 65" model, releasing in April 2018.

The all-new 6-Series and 5-Series are part of the award-winning TCL Roku TV family. The Roku OS allows it to stream and access to millions of movies and TV shows through a simple user interface. "By extending always-on voice and audio capabilities to the TV for more control and entertainment functionality, you'll enjoy a more immersive and convenient home theater", the company concluded.
