Aamir Khan posts picture with a sanitary pad

Alia Bhatt takes up the challenge thrown by Akshay Kumar to share her picture with a sanitary pad.

Alia Bhatt, Sonam Kapoor, Akshay Kumar, Shabana Azmi, Twinkle Khanna took the #PadManChallenge proudly and posted their pictures on social media. The trend was popularized by Ice Bucket Challenge that took place amongst the Hollywood community and many big stars did the challenge. Earlier, Twinkle Khanna tagged Aamir Khan and Mr. Perfectionist obliged by proudly posting a photo with the pad. In this challenge, a man has to hold a pad, pose for the camera and challenge his friends.

With the picture, Akshay Kumar tweeted: "Yes, that's a Pad in my hand & there's nothing to be ashamed about".




The actor also challenged superstars Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan and megastar Amitabh Bachchan to complete the challenge by holding a sanitary napkin and sharing a photograph. "Here I am Challenging @aamir_khan @AzmiShabana". Aamir Khan further nominated Shahrukh Khan, Salman Khan and Amitabh Bachchan who have not completed the challenge yet though some other people have.

PadMan which also stars Radhika Apte and Sonam Kapoor was initially slated to hit theatres on January 25 but the makers postponed the film to allow Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Padmaavat have a solo release on that day. He claims that he entered the toilet to grab a Sanitary pad from the vending machine to take part in the Padman Challenge.
