Snow, high near 35 — TODAY'S FORECAST

Rain chances will return to the forecast by evening and could mix with wintry mix or snow overnight.

Sunday night: Mostly clear, with a low around 28.

Snow showers will be likely Friday night through Saturday morning. Roads may be slick first thing in the morning, especially secondary roads, but they should all turn wet quickly after sunrise. As it looks now, Sunday will be dry and then we may have some flurries and snow showers on the backside of the system on Monday. Some areas will be getting a steady light snow, while other areas won't be seeing much. Chance of precipitation is 40%. High temperatures today climb to the mid 30s.

Following the snowy weather, mostly sunny skies will return until Friday, March 16 when the temperatures are expected to reach above 50 degrees and rain showers are expected.

Thursday night: Partly cloudy, low around 14.

Wednesday: Mostly sunny, high near 29.

Elsewhere it's mostly just a sunny day with some short showers.

Thursday night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 29. Highs on Thursday will be in the 30s with the wind making it feel colder than that. Friday will see a mix of sun and clouds with highs back in the low 60s.

As an area of low pressure over the Great Lakes dives southeastward, it'll bring snow across parts of Western New York. The good news, is that because it's late season snow, amounts and impacts will be minimal.
