Fresh off ratings bonanza, 'Roseanne' gets renewed for another season

ABC has renewed its Roseanne TV show revival for an 11th season.

It is the show's 11th season, but with a 21-year gap since its initial nine-season run. President Trump even called Barr last week to congratulate her on the show's success, and at a rally in OH on Thursday, he cited the show's ratings and said, "It was about us".

Barr's Tuesday premier of the Roseanne reboot drew some 18million viewers, making it a smashing success. Ms. Barr, in real life and on the show, is a vocal supporter of President Trump, who called to congratulate her on the ratings win and mentioned her success during a rally in OH on Thursday.

While the show received huge ratings, not every viewer was happy that Barr, who is a strong Donald Trump supporter in real life and in the show, has her own show.

"I've known him for many years and he's done a lot of nice things for me over the years", Ms. Barr said. At a speech in OH on March 29, he praised the show, noting the ratings and that it was "about us". The new Roseanne pilot raked in 18.2 million viewers in Live + Same Day ratings. "And it was about us!".

Roseanne Barr offered some words of praise for President Trump on Twitter Friday night, claiming he "has freed so many children held in bondage to pimps all over this world".

"I'm sure some people are supporting the show because they relate to whether they find it amusing", he stated. But Roseanne's comments left many asking where she was getting this information. They did not say if Trump had watched the show.

Barr was thrilled by the news.

After highlighting Barr's recent tweet, Darcy explained that she's referring to The Storm. While the original show provided an honest, "warts and all look" at Middle America, he added, the current show glazes over the fact that Roseanne is turning "a blind eye to Trump's many, many bigoted statements". "She's friends with anybody who gives her any goddamned money", Barr told Hollywood Reporter in a June 2016 interview. They haven't figured it out yet; the fake news hasn't quite figured it out yet.

Barr has said she voted for Trump.

"They plugged into what's going on in the country right now which is that in families when you're a Trump voter versus a Trump hater there's a lot of friction and a lot of fights within the family", Behar said. "I mean, this might come as a complete shock to you, but we nearly lost our house, the way things are going".
